Welcome to Lake Ozark Daybreak Rotary:

We proudly serve the Lake of the Ozarks Areas and surrounding communities with the caring and involved approach defined by Rotary International.  We are comprised of business people and community leaders and we offer opportunities for hands on involvement in improving our community and the world.

Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

President's Message:

Welcome to Lake Ozark Daybreak Rotary!  Our service club helps nearly 40 local organizations plus international projects across the world.

Our club meets at First Family Church each Friday morning across from the School of the Osage High School track.  Our breakfast buffet is available at 7:00 and is catered by Hy-Vee, the best breakfast in town! The meeting starts at 7:30 and ends promptly at 8:30.

Our two major fundraising projects are Winterfest and a muscle car raffle.  Winterfest was this past February at Tan-Tar-A and was themed "Movie Mania". We had live and silent auction items available, door prizes and the band, 'Retroactive'.  It was a great evening of fun and fundraising! On May 5th we gave away a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro RS at the Magic Dragon Street Meet in Lake Ozark. This is the third Camaro we've given away from Hulett Chevrolet, Buick, GMC. In 2009 our lucky winner walked away with a 2009 Dodge Challenger. In 2008 it was a new Ford Mustang. We sold out of tickets again this year and had the most success...yet...on this exciting fundraising effort.

Thanks to your efforts, we had an all-time record year of fundraising!!!

Stop in soon and enjoy a delicious breakfast with the best people at the Lake of the Ozarks and help our wonderful community.  I look forward to seeing you then.

Best Wishes,

Steve Naught, Immediate Past President

New Member Spotlight

Kathy Wise - Team Jane Kelly

Kathy's commitment to community service is second to none. As a new member she has already directed funds to Daybreak Rotary from Team Jane Kelly's 'Human Fund'. This is a renewing fund that the Real Estate agents in her firm contributed to with each transaction. Kathy's donation is earmarked for our 'Buddy Back Pack' effort which sends over 700 Lake Ozark area youth home with a backpack full of non-perishable food every Friday. Daybreak Rotary has matched her donation.

Thanks for taking the lead Kathy!

Kathy Wise and Daybreak Rotary President Alan Piedt
